IN YOUR CORPORATE CHARTER, I HAVE FOUND IT IS BEST TO TRY AND ANSWER 3 QUESTIONS; WHY, WHAT AND HOW. I have called these three answers the Vision, Mission and the Values of your business.

Once you have these three answers then you must communicate this Corporate Charter to all your employees.

One of my clients had his Vision printed on the back of his business cards. He would also use it in the hiring process. He would ask each of his candidates to respond in writing to his Corporate Charter.

 You see he understood the importance of unity of purpose. A double minded man is “unstable in all its ways.” So is a double-minded business.  He knew that if he could get everyone aligned to the purpose of the business he could expect his productivity to increase two-fold.

 1 Cor 1:10         I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought.

 Prov 19:21  Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails.
