IF YOU'RE A CONTROL FREAK, YOU'RE GONNA WIN... IN THE SHORT TERM

BUT LOSE IN THE LONG TERM.

Control freaks want to be in on every detail. 

Godly people want to give their people the freedom to fail.

Control freaks want to horde every resource.

Godly people want to be good stewards of what God has given them

Control freaks want to get back. 

Godly people want to give back. 

Control freaks want to make sure they are getting their fair share. 

Godly people want to make sure they are giving more than their fair share. 

Control freaks want to control everybody.

Godly people want to love everybody.

So where do you stack up?  Are you looking for the true riches? 

Or only seeking to become richer? 

Can we out give GOD?    Doesn't he own it all anyway?  

  Let's see what God's word has to say.

  John 15:14-17

14         You are my friends if you do what I command.

15         I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.

16         You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit-- fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.

17         This is my command: Love each other.

 1 Pet 2:11-13

11         Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul.

12         Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.

13         Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every authority instituted among men: whether to the king, as the supreme authority,
