I just left a meeting with one of my guys and he said that he had lost his edge over the last few years, most recently having a boss who spent a lot of time reining him in! His spirit had perhaps been broke or his edge was just dulled. I responded to him:

As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

If you need to get your edge back perhaps you need to get into an accountability relationship with another man!
